No? It seems quite stupid, doesn’t it? After all, the track is set, the carriage in motion and you’re strapped in. The best you could say is you can choose to yell and scream as your arms float overhead or sit there, stoic, if you wish. Aside from that you’re along for the ride. Well, my friend, this level of the Game is like this. Meaning you have no free will.
I can actually prove this to you in a way that is simple as it is effective. What is the basis for free will? Is it external or internal? Most would attest that its their choices, their decisions and mindset that are decisive ergo its whats inside their head that motivates them do it, yes? Cool. I agree with you. You know you own something when you can decide what to do with it, correct? For example, if you had a candy bar you could pick it up and put it in the fridge for later consumption or you could throw it in the bin or hand it to a runaway or whatever you wish. The basic point is:
What is yours is under your control to do with as you wish and, on the flip, what isn’t, isn’t.
Say if you didn’t own a candy bar and went into the store to shoplift that could cause all types of problems if the owner feels like pressing charges as that was his stock, his choice to sell and you attempted theft of his possession. With me so far?
From within your head you decide whether or not you wish to eat, beat, steal or kill and from this you deduce you have free will but lets reverse engineer a bit instead. Externally I said you can pick and place where you wish what you own or possess. Lets try the same within and reality test because if it truly is your mind then you should be able to direct what you think, at a whim, and even stop the traffic of thoughts if you wish as well turning the volume down on the chatter and enjoying pure silence.

Welcome to the rollercoaster! The average reader will have clicked they actually do not have any choice in this as they are little more than a living hostage of the madman inside their head that sounds just like them and, once upon a when, started chattering and hasn’t stopped since. He will tell you this is a lie, you’re in control, you do as you wish and how the concept of candybars on rollercoasters is as much garbage as frogs in the kitchen and this is stupid so why don’t we do something else, this instant. Those capable of awakening the Warrior within will get that response ability is free will in the sense that free won’t is more accurate as the rollercoaster can list as it pitches a curveball in your direction and you can be all in with the script or just look at it without investing an ounce of awareness. Ancient texts said such a thing and the metaphor they used was of two birds in the same tree. One eats the sweet and bitter fruits of life and the other looks on, dispassionately.
This is the Self you frequently hear me mention and why Knowledge of it is essential if liberation is your mission. Heck, even that is irrelevant because if you just want happiness, radiant health and the feeling of abundance then its worth gaining the alignment of being Centered in Self so you have another option. The alternative is being swept, that way and this, by the voice in your head and the rollercoaster of this realm that you ride by wearing flesh.
First and foremost, you are not the voice in your head but that which listens. Second, if you can move your awareness from your head to your chest you’ll find the chatter starts to dim. A great way of trying this is to sit on the edge of a chair so your spine is erect and then bow your head and imagine your mind melts into your neck and then commences to drip to the cavity of resonance. At first this may seem a bit odd, even fanciful, but stick at it and it clicks because what comes next is ineffable and thus must be felt for Self. After a while you get familiar with the imperience and can start to shift at will. Another neat trick I used to use, back when was imagining the version of my in my left brain steps and changes with the one right sided. Try it next time you’re puzzled or “In two minds” as it can free a lot of binds as these two are usually segregated hence the whole “Jesus crucified on a hill” thing which encodes the same information. Once you Know, for sure, that you can move your Witness where you wish then it becomes really, really interesting as the next steps to experiment will prove the world exists inside your head but your awareness is not generated by the flesh. You’ve often heard me mention that English is Devilish and that it is because its a backwards, upside down fragment of a language designed to confuse the mind programmed in it as its full of bugs, intended, and glitches to be exploited. All in all, its a faulty OS that was created for hacking human consciousness and creates the psychological equivalent of dumb terminals when compared to, say, Sanskrit which has a far greater resolution that belies the thought of the times and designs of minds that were coded therein. Its like I said about the phone wars and how every kid that steps in is a potential golden age incarnate until we bludgeon how to Thunk into their heads whilst disconnecting them from their chest. Its quite mad, bad and thoroughly wicked but that is the immense social sickness to which most are well adjusted…

Response ability is free will because if you look back at the times you flew off the handle you’ll find a stimulus response type of situation which hints at conditioning and the waves of regret that issue next when you do what the voice in your head says when it yells:
“I’m not listening to this. Let em have it, Chris!”.
And you do exactly as intended. After you’ve came face to faceless with this camera trick you’ll laugh at the concept of free will and the most ironic thing is that is when you start developing it as its like a muscle you flex which allows you to move your resonance and direct your intent. This is akin to taking the candy bar you placed in the fridge, reading the ingredients and decide to make one fresh from the bounty you have waiting in the kitchen. Many live and die without becoming chefs of consciousness as they are content instead to consume the dregs served up to them via the tones in their head they Thunk are them. Tell me that isn’t the slickest form of pimping you can imagine and then take a glimpse at the world of mind control parasites in this realm and how they’ll take over the thoughts, deeds and actions of an organism in a way that suits them but isn’t in the best interest of what, in effect, is now a vehicle for a process that uses their faculties for its own ends.
Say, if we are – each and everyone – a fractal fragment of the divine, Prime, pre-existing one made flesh then you could call this force the Devil, could you not? Say Hi to the bad guy! Hey, he looks just like you! Who knew?
Once you Know the Ledge a few things tend to shift. You realize the nature of the cheap trick of the pimps that run is this realm and you roll out a golf clap as its so devious its genius as you can only get smarter by playing a smarter Opponent and thus they hid one in your head and made you Thunk you’re them! Next you realize that feelings of safety, comfort and happiness only come from within so the psychosocial treadmill with its programs that say:
“Get rich, be slim, have attractive friends to sex at whim whilst dripping in designer threads with a load of strangers on the web coveting how you live and that means you win. Do all of this and life will be perfect, promise!”.
Except that a fib because this (false) self is of the devil and the truth is not within him as he is a liar, off rip, as he deals in deception as do his agents. That doesn’t mean you detest, after all, this entire Game plays out inside your awareness and thus there is only ever one mind present in this realm and we are all figments of each others imaginations. Sprinkle on top of this the fact that you’ve never touched a thing or truly seen an “out there” and it becomes mind bending as one comprehends how much effort actually went in to this false reality creation of which you are either just visiting or a living hostage promised nothing more or less than another spin till you get what truly kicks and take your awareness home and jet at the end of your trip.
Response ability is free will. Dicelife is a great way to develop this skill because one of my faves was to live “What would Jesus do?” for a twenty four hour period. The point was to be subtle, not break out the robes and sandals as I spoke in parables as a mimic. This bought my standard modes of operation into stark relief as you’d feel a familiar Pattern swell within that wants to react with X, Y and Z but your temporary lens creates an adjustment that brings A, B and C to the surface. After a while you begin to live your lyrics, no dice needed, as you develop internal freedom and it becomes even more evident that the word Slave describes best 81% of the population who Know not the Ledge and, worse still, would run screaming from the invitation as they’re so enamored with the imitation of free will in their lives on a string as flesh puppets, par excellence.
It really is a strange, strange Game on this stage. You really have to hand it to the Slave/Masters as they created an attraction in the abyss that sells a dish which those who eat, regret, and those who don’t do as well. The old Catch Twenty Two, strikes again! Double bind in full effect aka the tele/microscope mentioned, elsewhen. Stripping this down to a position of balance by being Centered in Self generates an Eleven:Eleven which allows further options aka response ability.
