Are You Your Savior or Enemy?

Are you your savior or enemy? Simple question. Profound implications. Have you ever stopped to ask? Just a take a look at your life, how you speak to yourself inside your head, the kind of care and attention you pay to your Earthday Suit and its maintenance. These three alone will show which side of the fence you sit when it comes to Self relation and many people attest a lightbulb moment as it clicks they may think they do but in reality they don’t act like they like themselves. An example I used previous was:

Would you treat your best friend like this?“.

The answer was a “No” that was followed by “Who would tolerate that?”. I find it interesting that empaths offer themselves as doormats to others and attempt to service all of their needs and whims but when it comes to themselves and their needs they are so far off in the distance that they never get so much as a fraction of the attention they lavish on others. Telling, isn’t it? Thing is until its mentioned and your attention is called it might as well be invisible. Many people are their own worst enemies and unleash all kinds of diabolical brutality upon themselves. The most common is beating themselves up in their heads about slights, real or imagined and other forms of this common conflict that nobody mentions but everybody partakes in. Are we a species in psychosis? I’m inclined to think this is the case, most certain of it.

There is a division in man. A compartmentalization which is neither natural nor standard equipment and yet we all grow into it. Adulteration, I call it. That which obscures Inner Sense much like a damn prevents the natural flow of a stream. Doesn’t that image describe your life so perfect? Something that was once free and visceral. Directly felt with every ounce of your being as dwelled in optimal resonance and total coherence that was, over time, reduced in scope and strength to become a state that feels like something is missing but you can’t quite mention what it is as its been so long since you recollected.

The Game of Souls has you, my friend.

First they divide then they conquer. By their fruits shall we know them and some things we raise to our lips may initially taste of sweetness but thats only to hide the bitter within. Once that schism is installed its very easy to make every little misstep from that point on lead you up the garden path until you find yourself adrift, up the creek without a paddle as they said, wondering what the hell happened. Just that. In the speculative and operative sense. Hell. On Earth. And by that I mean how you relate to your Self. The world as it stands is testament to this chaos because we disrespect the planet, loot it for resources and never think how to replenish or, worse still, appreciate the gifts its offering. Sad, isn’t it? A species in psychosis. The outer reflects the in.

The good news is that the greatest makeover begins from within. Its a simple decision. Do something nice for your Self. An attitude of gratitude defines your latitude and that is a secret skill that is nothing as fanciful as positive thinking because what you’re actually doing is meta-programming your consciousness by saying “I notice this and this and this and they make me feel quite wonderful“. After a while you lay down a Pattern and suddenly more and more things in resonance with this new reality tunnel are furnished to your awareness leading to you falling up by accident and seemingly without effort.

Resistance is a terrible thing. Most people are miniature versions of Atlas, carrying the world on their shoulders because that is what they inherited from their parents and theirs before them when, in reality, they’re supposed to walk up on it. They’ve got the rolls reversed and that is just another symptom of our madness as they then hate what creates and nourishes them as they see its presence as a punishment. Same thing with the body. When a lot of people scream “What is the matter with me?” they literally mean the flesh wrapped around their awareness as its not performing as expected. As each programmer knows, “Garbage out comes from garbage in”. Watch your thinking. Ironic, isn’t it that most people pay more attention to a television set that offers its own type of brainwashing but very little Self observation and meta-programming. Here’s another to repeat as you sit, road raging in your seat, and are late to clock in and some idiot stops on the yellow and pauses the traffic:

“Every day, in every way, I’m getting better and better”.

Rather going hell for leather as you stress about a set of variables that are, in the long run, meaningless you instead take that moment you were granted to invest in something beneficial instead of telling your head to pay attention to all of detriment.

I used to spend a lot of time on the road. Up and down the country handling things as and when they were needed. One of my friends commented “How come when you’re driving there is never any traffic, no speeding tickets or any problems? Last time we went there were roadworks one way and someone broke down in the fast lane on the way back”. The guy in the back said “Ah, I hate it when that happens. Do you remember when…”. Before he could launch into a diatribe of detailed recollection of highway blockages and the emotions generated therein I stopped them and said:

“One part common sense. Two parts head management. I pick the time we leave properly based on a few things as I know which roads will be the emptiest and plot the path based on intuition as I’m driving so what you may see as diversions are actually the most efficient way of getting there”. This was the days before GPS. “Next before I’ve even got in or put the key in the ignition the trips already happened and, just like the one before it, I’m grateful for how smooth it went. After that its pedal to the metal and the rest takes care of itself”.

Of course they didn’t believe it. Sadder still they didn’t attempt it. Why? Its easier to be an enemy instead of savior when everyone else is doing it. Even when the evidence was right in front of them and they were given the script on how to make it happen. Thats the difference between a Warrior and a Slave, I guess. The latter hears something that sounds like magic and discounts it without an attempt to reality test whereas the former has an equation in their head that says “Effort divided by reward equals potential for achievement and gains” then gives it a spin. Try it. You may be surprised with what happens.

Next time something kicks and you notice that Click-Whirr thinking kicking in simply stop and recode it in a different direction that starts drawing your subconscious to create new Patterns that are constantly improving your life instead of defiling it. Granted a lot of people need these vents because they carry around a lot of hatred and negative emotions they haven’t dealt with due to being strangers to introspection but thats all part of the schism.

You don’t have to be mad to be born into this realm but this planet will certainly drive you round the twist if you don’t Know the Ledge because that same process begets the spin that liberates the circle from the square its within and it allows it ascend via a spiral golden.

Small things, huge shifts. Practical spirituality and metaphysics downloaded into your consciousness via each article you ingest. Now, go make it happen. Next time something clicks ask your Self:

Am I my savior or enemy by choosing to act like this?” and then let the meta-programming commence.

Till we meet again
