
One of the main problems with this realm is that of feeling emotional overwhelm. This is actually a sign of strength that is, currently, being misinterpreted due to a lack of Knowledge and low res processing of your energetics. At present we are taught not to feel what we label as bad and, on the flip, we chase that which brings us pleasure. This, in and of itself, is not only a fools errand but a tacit admission you are not Centered in Self ergo that is the first step and most powerful solution as, once you are grounded, you develop a sense of space and comfort that, gradually, builds the gnosis and frame of reference that you are not the state, presenting, but that which takes it in. This resonance I’ve termed the Witness and the easiest way to get to grips with it is recollect that it is constant, awake or in bed, happy or stress. This is you, in the most purest sense.
What to do when you feel overwhelmed? Well, it helps to comprehend there are actually more options than chasing or pretending they don’t exist. The middle way is based on acceptance. A sense of surrender, if you will. We neither shove them away nor should one jump in. Find that place in the Center instead and get used to it. You can think of it like weight training and these article is akin to the pink dumbells you may have lifted, once upon a when. People are in rush to skip the basics but you must comprehend that you have to battle against old habits that you’ve poured a lifetimes attention. Well, did they work? I’m guessing they didn’t because if they did you wouldn’t need to read this but the very fact you are present, at this very moment, suggests you are more than capable of awakening the Warrior within. Lets get practical:
Like all relationships in this realm the one within starts with a greeting so get comfortable, lay on your bed if you wish, and just start breathing. Set aside a few minutes with no distractions as we begin this exploration of consciousness with the intent to not change a thing. We are here to simply Witness what is present with a mind that is open and curious to these signals and their intent which is always for your best. That, in many ways, is the paradox that presents because we are so estranged from Self that these lights, flashing, can feel like a hazard which says:
“This is bad. Really bad”.
If it were do you think the best solution is to ignore and pretend it isn’t happening or face it, head on? See how obvious it is when seen from another lens? Lie down on your bed and start breathing. Don’t even change this. Just observe how much of your flesh you’re filling with the air that pours in and then allow it to keep tumbling in its own rhythm which you’ll note soon starts to shift. Next, close your eyes and say “Hello” to these energetics via your awareness and its presence. If it helps you can pretend your mind is like a flashlight of attention that shines curious compassion toward your own inner Self. This is how you begin to stake a claim for the sacred space because your mind may be full of tricks but your body only speaks the truth so lets learn its language. How do the extremities feel? You may note that your toes and fingers seem quite safe and the pain is lurking in some place else. Thats all good, we’ll take what we can get with an attitude of acceptance so lets sense in instead of running. Then you work your way along your limbs as you develop your presence and start saying something like:

“Something within me feels (insert how its repped)”. It can be a tingle, a sharpness, a lack or absence plus many other points of ref. Comprehend that these are mere labels wrapped around a bundle of energetics and accept it. At this point a lot of Souls report a sigh float from their lips as they start easing their grip on their old way of Thunking. Congratulations, my friend, you are doing very well and I applaud your efforts in taking this step to beget a greater state of coherence. If you are sad then say “Something in me feels like its glow has dimmed and I interpret that as sadness“. Then sit with it. Like lowering your Self in to a bathtub at its temp. The water is what it is and you know, fine well, it will be gratefully accepted once in resonance but that initial step can feel immense as its all happening within. Actually that is a great link as emotions and liquid are one and the same thing but manifesting at differing levels of vibration. Actually, you can practice with this by taking two bowls, one quite hot and the other chilled and alternate placing your hands within. You will notice something else from this imperiment and that is, after a while, its hard to tell the difference as your mind starts to shift its definitions. If you don’t need this extra bit I still suggest you try it, as and when, as its a great method of reinforcement and mastering your consciousness as we prep to look within.
“Something within me'” statements are a great way of Knowing the Ledge as it begets a space versus “I am (insert emotion)” as that one shift in program alters your perceptions which hints at the power of language and use it well. You are the master of your energies or are enslaved by them. This, in a nutshell, is the Path of Power process as you get its all a negotiation in the end, beginning and during. “I am sensing” is another way of doing this as the spell reminds you of the space between the Witness and resonance that presents. Whereas before you may have said you are feeling sadness the flip of “Something within me feels heavy and dense, around my chest, that I equate with sadness” presents a whole load more variables instead of walking along that well worn groove in your head. What is the texture, color, and space taken by this presence? Define it to control it but not with an iron grip. Instead, recollect the time you laid on your back and viewed clouds overhead as they’re too far to manhandle but, paradoxically, are also within your consciousness. They are, in the end, a Pattern of vibration that contain a potential that pours down and nourishes all that are living. This is how your energetics do manifest as one aims to get beyond good and evil by realizing they’re the only Soul on the planet. That lesson may be a bit advanced for your current res but I sprinkled the seeds as a hint of what comes next as you progress because we interact not with the world as it is but how we feel, in the moment, and that, itself, is a huge hint about the primacy of consciousness so reframe your resonance as an invitation to get familiar instead of falling into the grip of your old habits.

In many ways this is the entire teaching, in a shell. How you choose to nurture this makes all the difference and it all comes from expansion as all boundaries are illusions you accept without stopping to reality test. A metaphor I’ve used, for clients in my drop in, was the image of a door they’d been pushing when it only opens within and thus it takes nowhere near the amount of effort they were using before stopping to comprehend that the old ways weren’t working and its time for a new mind to be developed within.
Say “Hello” to this something once you’ve sensed its presence. It could present as an image, sensation or whatever else. Be interested in it as you’ve just extended your hand in friendship. We’re aiming to get intimate so this means we’re taking the step of acknowledgement and not waving from a distance with an attitude of dismissal. Using the door meta, you could think its akin to pushing on the door to keep them at the edge but, comprehend, the only push that kicked was actually an inversion of your energetics. “How come you stopped pressuring?” you could think when this fits. At this point you may note another aspect that was doing the defending. Remember, they are bits of thee but you are the whole thing.

All parts of you want to ensure you win but for how long has this Pattern been trying to get your intention? It may seem like its hurting but this isn’t its intent, of that I’m certain and you will be as well because that which you resist, persists. The image of a child, hopping up and down to get your attention is such a valid way of seeing things as these aspects of Self often ref younger imprints and thus have less intellectual resources ergo will keep on yelling until you listen. Take a note of the shifts that kick as you shine your awareness of this torrent of emotions as you notice this shifts to a river then lake, streaming, as you sit on the edge, taking it all in without judgement. One of the most beautiful things about this thought imperiment with practical steps to manifest the gnosis within is you start to comprehend that a lot of your dread is actually the fear of fear, itself, and not the main thing. This is what melts to beget the space to bring Centering and from here you develop a sense of ease and grounding.
Take a look around within, see what happens when you start interacting as opposed to evading. I’ll let you fill in the rest but a quick hint is talking like you would to scared kid, with the same type of compassion and gentleness because you are the teacher and these energetics are students that present to teach one a lesson that never lessens or diminishes your radiance as a heart felt connection can only increase your resonance.
