Let me share something that will make you think and may present a light bulb moment for those currently two stepping in tandem with someone (or something) that appears to be out of sync with them and is currently leading them away from Self actualization. I call this process dancing with the devil and it goes a little something like this:
We all step into this realm with a purpose. For many it involves them. Their needs, their feels, their desires. In that respect its like many Souls checked in for the “all you can eat” buffet experience as its all about sensation and satiation. This will tick the box for the vast majority of people on the planet and if this rings true then you should stop reading. Not just this article but the rest of my leftings as well because you’ll get nothing at all from it as it isn’t pitched at your wavelength for this incarnation.
There are others who feel the budding seeds of altruism, protection, offering guidance or nurturing as well as many other things that are based on the betterment of the collective. For said Souls life is hell but there is a very interesting Pattern that I’ve spotted, time and again. How to tell if you’re dancing with the devil? Simple, you’ll get the sensation of bashing your head against a brick wall that alternates between talking to it and trying to convince it to listen. As we both know that cannot happen but what many don’t click is this is this Opponent, projected. This is the test. Its akin to being gifted a car with a full tank of petrol each day and instead of going off on an adventure where they road may take you sit in your driveway doing wheelspins. The engine is screaming, the tyres smoking and you, you are wasting your resources on something that can never change because the obstacle was designed to trick you into thinking this was your reason for incarnation.
In one young girls case it was her mother. Another middle aged man recognized the Pattern as his father (now dead) and said “If only I’d known then”. My key message to you and all of them is identical:

The devil, however they manifest, will have immense skills in emotional manipulation. They are often narcissistic and project one image to the world and another in private. Often you can be born into this dynamic or keep attracting said in a relationship. The astute will have clicked why I set off this article saying its the Opponent projected because you are the prime cause of this problem and thus Knowledge of Self is the solution otherwise you’ll be wheelspinning and wrestling with a phantom that simply doesn’t exist. One of the most frequent things people report when they obtain this gnosis is that after a few attempts to get them to reengage these devils just drifted out of their existence with zero resistance. Truly, there is no spoon so why try and bend it?
Spotting it, however, is night on impossible because all of the “Yay! I came here to do X, Y and Z” boxes are ticked by this person but no matter what you attempt the desired outcome will not be forthcoming. Cue a lot of stress, some bad words, choicely expressed, regret, tension and eventual burn out and sense of giving in. Why is this? Simple, this level of the Game is super difficult and for those who step in wishing to shine in the darkness the challenge is ramped up from the moment they incarnate. One of the most interesting dynamics if that of the golden child/black sheep and that is often fostered in an environment of narcissists with an empath in their midst. It often happens in families, schools and places of business. What is most fascinating is how those who attempted to break away out of pure reaction without underlying gnosis or introspection found them in exactly the same situation again. That, in and of itself, offers massive hints about the true level of genius within as well as the nature of sentience and the Game as well but that is another topic.
Once they have the Knowledge then its like a lotus blossoming as they become aware the obstacle is within. In that respect its like being given a high performance vehicle whose speed is limited by placing a block underneath the acceleration pedal. Why is this? To force you to look within before you run off and play superhero in this realm. Bruce Wayne, although fictional, is a great example of this because what we actually have is a damaged and traumatized man that ignores the wealth of resources and contacts at his fingertips that could be used to make a palpable difference to those who need it and instead chooses to don an outfit and vent his feelings on the impoverished criminals of Gotham that are nickle and diming to pay the rent. Make it make sense. Take another look at that outfit, those ears, the darkness and you’ll see what I mean about dancing with the devil.
In real life its not much different because the projection you’re dealing with often exists due to an unacknowledged pain you hold within made manifest as the irresistible object of your attraction that provides the resistance designed to make you stop and think. “Wait a minute!”. Then you win. And by win I mean you ease on out of the driveway and on with your adventure instead of all that effort with no traction.
Its quite clever, in a sense. Its also wildly twisted because those who lack depth in this realm have a hell of good time on this spin and those that sense something is off with the script and truly wish to help often end up drowning in tears of sadness due to the life they’ve lived that seems to bring one test after the next. The key, like everything else, is inside you. If you stop and look at this person you wish to change with a critical lens and find the psycho emotional correlate within then you can sketch a template that says “What does this remind me of?” and free associate. As your mind drifts you may find some strange things popping in as the Rolodex spins and offers its suggestions. If you get nothing then you sit in a chair with a plate by your side and spoon in your grip as you repeat the question whilst waiting to slip into a state of sleepy relaxation. When that happens your muscles will relax, gravity does its thing and you jolt back to consciousness and often find the solution. This is quite a powerful and simple hack for those who draw a blank when trying to see the personal bones under the projected person in front of them.
The obstacle can be not only the solution but also the way for those that comprehend. Sadly, many don’t and live lives of unfulfillment and resentment as they look at the other as the problem when, in reality, its them ergo look within, do the Knowledge and find your solution.
The way I described it to someone is like those scenes you see in a cartoon where they’ll dig a trench, cover it in foliage and put what you want on the other side so that when you step you fall in and thats the entire intent. Increased awareness. See, if you’re pouring your energy into a black hole and feeling drained due to the this its essential you become conscious of how to direct your talents. A whole load of empty shells masquerading as people in this realm that will put on all of the performance of needing help and being willing to listen but, in truth, are only doing it for the attention and manipulation. Not everyone who walks in the flesh is human.
Once you’ve overcome this “at home” challenge then you are far better equipped to handle the realm and get on with it and know with whom to share your talents and whom to greet politely from a distance and keep it moving. Discernment. This experience is akin to recalibrating your internal compass and it also creates a direct link to your subconscious which makes it very hard to get tricked again. Once bitten, twice smothered in garlic…
