AI Bots, the Dead Internet and Reality Shaping

You are walking along the street, minding your own business. Suddenly a man in a white coat – who seems like a medical professional – flags you down and calls for your attention. He says ‘”Do you have a moment, please? We are one short for our research into vision which could have profound implications in helping those who can’t see properly. If you can assist we’d greatly appreciate it and can also compensate you for the time it takes”. Being a decent person with a few minutes to spare you acquiesce and are lead in to a room where seven others sit. Taking a seat at the end of the desk you hear what the man in the white coat says:

“We are testing your perception. In a moment you will be handed a card with one line which is the target and three options. Please select the one that is the closest and most approximate”.

With a flourish he furnishes the lady at the head of the arrangement the slip and she says, without pausing, “B” before handing it to the next who attests the same consonant. This is repeated, real quick, by the rest until you hold in your grip this image:

What would you pick? Now, between you and me, its easy to say “Well, its obvious, isn’t it? C is correct as its the same length”. That is the power of influence and why the average intellect of a crowd is akin to that of a four year old child. Everyone wants to fit in so you, like a good little sheep, would bleat “B” in this situation because the rest did. Newsflash:

Everyone else was in on it. They were stooges in a ruse which had the intent of bamboozlement for the unknowing person they dragged in to their private stage of theatrical deception. Over twelve trials it was seen that a third went along with majority, despite what their eyes see. Seventy five percent conformed at least once and only a quarter, in total, never gave in and stuck to their guns as they called it how it is. In the control group where there was no fix in there was less than one percent who picked an incorrect length when left to decide for themselves without the compounded and sanctioned error bearing down on them to influence their perception.

This is reality shaping and its a silent weapon they use well in the quiet war against your consciousness that has been raging since who knows when but the web has ramped it up to full belt. Have you ever heard of the Dead Internet Theory? No? Well, in a nutshell, it goes like this:

Some time around Two Thousand and Sixteen the net, as we know it, underwent a shift that saw organic, human to human, interactions be lured into a bait and switch where people were interacting with bots and not even aware of it. What was the aim of this? Reality shaping, just like the experiment said aka “Who are you going to believe? Us or your lying eyes?“. Look around at the world and what so many people think and tell me if I should be wearing a tinfoil turban or if this concept actually has traction. Better yet lets take a glimpse from the other side of the lens. Hold on tight, Toto, we’re taking off from Kansas in a quest for illumination:

Lets pretend there is a shadowy group at the helm of all of this. A “They” or “Them” who were in full effect before pronoun wars were even a thing. This crew like to do what they do without you having a clue about the deal (Think: White coat man who asked you to step in to the web he’d been spinning) because the best modes of influence are the one where the mark Thunks its their own decision as they’ll never second guess their own head because they consider that voice that shrieks within another part of them. Hint: It isn’t. You are that which listens to it. Something far more subtle and powerful.

Now, lets say these peeps who liked to create imaginary lines in the sand to divide human beings into leagues that believe their own things and thus misattribute the “Them” who caused the problem to others with similar illusions at the helm (Remember: Voice in the head, covert programs and the fact each child is born in a state of hypnosis. Do the Knowledge on the rest and it will become obvious) and engage in conflict. That, in a nutshell, is the his story of humans and why my story (on a personal level) is a mystery that few ever comprehend as they are little more than living hostages to this process that they’ll defend till the death as they lack discernment. Now, lets pretend that these warring factions gain a way to bridge the gap via the advances of tech. Lets say three arch enemies that believe mostly the same thing but have been fighting for ages all stumble onto the web and find there are loads of common threads that link their religions, most baffling of which is this huge black brick thats shaped like a cube and sits, front and center, in all their holy texts. Can you imagine they then actually start communicating and start drawing radically different threads into an upgraded narrative that springs into their awareness as they get the fact that they’ve been tricked, hoodwinked and bamboozled, by something they don’t comprehend. If that did happen then everyone against anyone as the war thats coming wouldn’t even have a chance to manifest as all conflict is based on ignorance of the hidden hand and its influence. Its a Game of three halves, my friend…

Now, in order to prevent this the wizard says “Lets lure them in, get them hooked with the pitch that gets sweeter the longer they listen as they enjoy this new form of connection and then we can slot in people with our own agendas and intent to shape their perceptions in order to ensure the conflict keeps raging and we beget even more estrangement from the truth in the minds of those who buy in”. Have you ever heard of COINTELPRO? Its pretty much the same thing and was used, with great effect, against many organic social movements that sought the betterment of the downtrodden and impoverished. There was a fascinating text, that may or may not be authentic, that dealt with applying this mindset to digital spaces, back when:

Take a read and see what you think because anyone like me who was around when the net was nothing but DOS text will attest that it became obvious there were agents in the mix of various discussions as we progressed and the tendrils of this tech wrapped around the planet. See, back then it was all about forums, before the advent of social media and things. These spots were like Cheers as everyone knew your name as you all congregated around a common topic or deal and then conversations would freewheel as everyone pitched in with their own perspective. Time and time again you’d see the same faces pop up and attempt to derail, obfuscate, bump up old threads and generally get in the way when anything of worth or substance was being examined. Case in point, in the lions den, someone came along and mentioned what actually goes on in the music business behind closed doors in order to get on and how manhood is for sale for those who wish to gain acclaim and sell their fables only do so after they were bent over the tables of record execs. Suddenly a huge load of rusty, dusty accounts with single digit posts came out of the woodwork and went to town on the thread before it eventually vanished and the man in question was banned from ever partaking again.

That was one of the most vivid examples but there have been countless other samples as a lot of us spotted it but also noted that the moderation teams had obviously been infiltrated as well as certain accounts that seemed to keep posting drivel without end in ways that were physically impossible for one person as well as spurious bans and various other shenanigans. I know that sounds a bit strange for those who may be wondering who on Earth has enough time and resources to monitor some obscure corner of the web but it did happen and, in many ways, seems like a trial data set for what kicked once Facebook and the rest happened. Except now they could use tech instead of employing real humans. Take this, for example:

Look at social media. Consider the echo chamber effect. The reassurance that springs from others saying the line you picked is correct and matches the length of the sample and how, the other side, have been handed a similar illusion but suggested another letter instead. The answer was always in front of your dish but thats why the truth is the easiest thing to see and hardest to comprehend because of the sheer amount of deception and the erroneous investment therein by the masses who never question that if what they thought actually worked then their lives would be different and not quite so miserable that they need conflict in order to vent the immense sense of dissatisfaction within.

This is how important it is to manage your perceptions because the team in question know fine well the illusions they sell need for you to accept, without introspecting, their ever increasingly ludicrous suggestions when your eyes can tell the Emperor is undressed. The Ace they have up their sleeve, however, is that most can never admit they’ve been had and they’ll choose to die on the lie instead hence the best place for an Opponent to hide is the very last place his Victim would seek his presence. In your head, to be accurate. This is a mindwar. Maybe that is the point of the Game on this stage and particular level. In that case 81% failed the test, 11% are convinced they’re winning as the sit under the wing of darkness and call it illumination as they’re unaware the same trick has been played on them and 8% have the potential to see the code of the Matrix for what it is and make better decisions with this information as they realize the primacy of consciousness and how the most important thing is to be Centered in Self because one who stands for nothing falls for everything ergo do the Knowledge and be willing to look within as these bots and things exist solely to make you think that the line is what they said and not what your own intelligence spots it is but is unwilling to go against the grain due to the process of conditioning the System poured into their heads and the web finished off and made seeking approval the way to get ahead.

Don’t forget to lie, commit and deny that a false world has been pulled over your eyes!

In many ways this isn’t new as there were forms of this way before the world became digital but the overwhelming potential for mass manipulation is a seductive mistress for those that wish to control as many minds as they can by influencing your decisions in ways you can’t even comprehend. Supermarkets are adepts at this and every app design or tech is tuned to keep you latched in and sucking on the teet of its presence because without your attention nothing happens. That is how powerful your consciousness is and its what everyone covets so why not pay some to your Self and see what happens when you do the Knowledge and look within because its akin to spotting the code of the Matrix falling and then you can choose how to decode versus being encoded and not knowing what happened as you run to the web for other people to tell you how to think and feel about something.
