Sweet Lies or Bitter Truths?

In the Game of life
there is a great divide
On one side you have those
who offer sweet lies
artful deceptions wrought
from cunning minds
They have the entire world
in their grip
Each Soul that steps is
in effect
pledged
to a beast that is as great
as it is invisible.

They say the road to hell
is paved with good intent
Take a good look around
Where do you think we’re headed?

Bitter truths
on the other hand
are often the daily bread of adepts
Why?
Because they desire gnosis
Liberation is the quest
An end to their suffering
because anything is better
than being stuck on
the wheel of time again.

Someone once said
that there are those who
prefer to reign in hell
than serve in heaven.

In that respect its a tale
as old as the hills
and yet totally current
as it rages within.

Can you hear the Psylense?
Or is the noiZ a familiar presence?

If you had a choice
here
now
this instant
to know the truth of everything
as it stands
plain and unvarnished
with no regard for your feelings
or investments
vs carrying on as is
with the world offering reassurances
about your perspectives
Which one would you pick?

See, this question is a trick
It just shows how deep the conditioning is
the programming of countless generations
that culminates with you
in the present
clutching a gift you dare not experience
and thus will die
after living the life unexamined.

The truth is of little importance to most people.

Its actually an inconvenience
hence its bitterness
sweet nothings seemingly grow on trees
Such are the tricks of the medes.

Bitter truths is all I’m offering
those who digest
may then turn to me
with a grin
as it clicks
that the state of bliss
they’ve just generated
via transcendence
is a whole nother kind
of sweetness
that glows
within.

A golden luminance.

Thats why they call it
enlightenment
and it awaits those
willing to step inside
the darkness
of which they weren’t
even conscious.

Its a Game of three halves
Three halves, my friend.
There is what you know you know
what you know you don’t know
and what you don’t know you don’t know
nor even suspected exists.

It is from there I’m speaking
and the view is quite different
on pretty much everything.
